		COMPUTER TECHNICAL ANALYST

Lakehead University Computer Services Department has an immediate
openeng for a Computer Technical Analyst.

Duties:
------
The provision of leadership and expertise in the support of networking
and UNIX-based academic computing; planning, installation, maintenance and
technical support for hardware and software systems.


Qualifications:
--------------
Applicants should have an advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
A knowledge of hardware as well as software is desirable.  Assets include
experience with:

		- SUN microsystems computers
		- Ethernet
		- Ungermann-Bass (or other) broadband networks
		- DEC VAX computers
		- Microcomputer networks.
