done a modification of the transcript psdit to allow it to use
down-loaded bit map fonts as well as the ones coming with the laser writer.
We would like to use the TEX fonts with the ditroff|psdit combination.
Since there is a dvi->ps processor, it should not be too hard. However
a good software engineer is a lazy one and if it exists it's better to
buy than to build over again
