That is, is it possible to add virtual terminals to a system which already has real terminals, and have the two coexist? That is, some users' interactive processes would be based at real terminals, and others at virtual terminals. If so, is there a system call which can be used by the properly privileged user to create a virtual terminal? Must the operating system be reconfigured to allow the virtual terminals? (Also, what VMS versions would allow this?) Thanks very much. Reply to UUCP address ..!ucbvax!ihnp4!ttrdc!levy (no ARPA access). --Dan--
