We originally had only one line coming into the house. When I started using my modem a lot, I decided to have another line installed. However, the second line gets a lot of noise (mostly ~r) when I connect to most sights, but not all. I can use the original line with these sights without problems. The phone company came to check the second line, and they said it was fine. They also told me that I could get a filter of some sort that might alleviate the problem. Does anyone know if a filter would help, and if so, where could I get one. UUCP: {ihnp4, seismo, hplabs, decvax, arizona}!utah-cs!ivancich ARPA: ivancich@utah-cs
