A new USENET newsgroup, mod.os.os9, has been created as a forum for
discussions about the OS-9 operating system. Postings at all technical
levels from novice to expert are encouraged, and should be mailed to
the moderators at nyit!os9 (see routing info below). The moderators
will attempt to route any questions submitted to knowlegeable OS-9
programmers, who will post the questions with answers when possible.

An OS-9 sources archive is being created at NYIT, and will be
distributed via electronic mail on request. The first OS-9 archive
table of contents will be posted on February 3. Submissions to the
archive should be mailed to nyit!os9 .

Those who have no access to netnews but are reachable by electronic
mail from the USENET, ARPANET, or CSNET may receive the newsgroup
via mail by sending a request to nyit!os9-request.

The moderators are Bruce Perens (nyit!bp), and Alex Arthur (nyit!aca),
of the NYIT Computer Graphics Laboratory.
