I am looking for advice, commentary, and possible pointers in the design and implementation of a multiuser bulletin board. I would like ANY information concerning format suggestions, possible existing software to apply, and methods of implementation. This board will most likely start small, on a single PC, but is intented to grow into a multiuser system, possibly available on one or another network, (ie BITNET). I am gathering as much information as I can to present a total picture to the parties involved in a proposal format. Such information will comprise operation cost analysis, salaries, hardware and software costs, personnel, and format. Any information that you may wish to share, either from experience working a board, or designing, or implementing a board would be greatly appreciated. If you have access to BITNET, you may respond by sending information to ELLIS@YALEVAX5.BITNET Or respond to WS17@A.CS.CMU.EDU and the information will be fowarded. *Please feel free to comment on any aspect of Bulletin Boards that you may have an opinion about.* Thank you, Bill Ellis Yale School of Drama ------
