I have been researching the types of film to be used for
astrophotography and cannot seem to determine the type of
film to use and when to use it. Is there anyone one that can
enlighten me on this?

When does one use say Kodachrome 64 vs. Ektachrome 100 vs. higher
speed film at ASA 400, 1000, or 1600 (other than increasing the
sensitivity to light)? Is it more important to go for contrast at
lower ASA than sensitivity to light?
