Lines: 19 In his book, "Iacocca", Lee Iacocca says that he dislikes airbags, and gives as a reason : They only protect you in a front-end collision ; they could go off prematurely; the chemical used to inflate them can be toxic. He also feels that people will stop wearing saftey belts if airbags are installed. He also cited the extra $$$ that it will cost. He prefers enforcement/passage of seat-belt laws.
