Geez! In the Wednesday (Jan 22) St. Louis Post-Dispatch, there is a front page story on how gas prices are dropping. The picture above the story shows a Texaco sign with regular at 92.9, and unleaded at 97.9. The story mentions a Shell station in this area that's selling regular for an "unheard-of" 79 cents a gallon. Just like the good 'ole days, eh? The story mentions that crude oil and gasoline prices have been dropping on the New York Mercantile Exchange. This is causing analysts to predict more drops in gasoline prices in the next four to six weeks. The story also mentions price wars in this area which are helping drop the prices more... (btw, I'm paying 119.9 for Amoco Super Unleaded... maybe I'm getting ripped off!)
