I am looking to do the same thing. I presently have a '85 Mitsubishi Starion LE. The intercooler has interested me for a long time not just because of its increase in power but also because it will probably/hopefully increase the life of the turbo because of the lower air temperatures. I went to my dealer where I bought the car (i know, i know) and asked him how much the parts would be to add the intercooler (Mitsubishi makes and intercooler Starion called the ESI) EXcluding labor. The total comes out to around $1000. Anyone know if I can get a better deal using something else--maybe from a per- formance shop? Please post to me and the net because I'm sure it is of inter- est to alot of others. BTW, I live in Boston, MA. George Earle DECVAX!DECWRL!RHEA!OBLIO!EARLE disclaimer...disclaimer...disclaimer...
