The beginning of his "The Dog Who Wouldn't Be" is set there. I read the book when I was very young, and again recently. It's very simply written, but it's worth reading, especially for people who love dogs. Mutt, the dog, natch, believed he was human, learned to climb ladders and walk on fences (the better to chase cats!) and was a 'retrieving fool.' The final paragraph may be the best ending to any book I've ever read, and is worth picking up for that alone.... Chris J.
