I'd like to take a survey of books that were responsible for sparking an
interest in things scientific and technical in people when they were kids.
I would have to list some of the popular books by G. Gamov, countless
pieces of Sci Fi drivel, Scientific American (particularly the old
Amateur Scientist when CL Strong conducted it), and Sky and Telescope
magazine.
