In older versions  of uucp that message was a fprintf(stderr,...) the
4.3bsd uucp (and 2.9bsd and any uucp that I may have had
my hands on) logs it to the log file instead of essentially throwing
away the error message.

So, it's happening on "all" uucps, but yours is one of the few that
bothers to note it.
