After deducting the fruit, vegetables, and cheese, the meat turned out to cost us an average of $6-$7 per pound! I called the company, but they never would tell me what their idea of cost per pound was on the meat. Think about this. You are talking about $14 per meal! You could buy two pounds of good meat plus enough veggies for four people for around $8 at the grocery store.
