I am trying to do a very small application using EQUEL, and
though I've tried using examples directly from the equel man 
page and the equel section of "The Design and Implementation 
of INGRES," I still can't get anything to work.

If there are any EQUEL users in mailing range, please drop me
a line so I can get back to you with a few questions.
