Having recently had some leased-line modems taken out by a nearly lightning hit, I wouldn't let an integral modem near my Unibus. I'm not altogether happy that we have wires running all over the building, in fact. At least we're using Emulex CS11s so the wires don't run into the Unibus box itself.
