The connection to the ethernet coaxial cable will be made with H4000 transeivers. I would like to know if there is any reason why I have to use ethernet cable from DEC, or whether cable from another manufactor would be satisfactory? If a third party vendor cable is usable, do people have recommendations for particular manufactors, or are there general considerations one should look at when shopping for cable? Please reply by mail. If there is sufficient interest in the results, I will post them to this group. Thank You. Eric G.
