In fall of 84 and spring of 85, at DECUS, I was told I'ld receive the distribution around early November. That was considered a safe date by the nervous digital spokesperson... Not even he thought that it would take longer than that. Well, here are the dates I see on my material: exec tape written: 08/27/85 exec letter dated: 09/05/85 mon letter dated: 09/05/85 rsx20f letter written:09/05/85 mon tape written: 09/20/85 rsx20f pack written: 12/05/85 received by shipping: 12/11/85 expected delivery: 01/17/86 received: 01/21/86 Am I missing something or did this process take an unreasonable amount of time?? Am I to expect the same type of schedule for VAX/VMS software as well? george Boyce, Cornell Computer Services, george@cornell
