Help. I just got down to level 7 of the dungeon and was attacked by
a shopkeeper for some unknown reason. I did nothing to provoke him
and he just ran up a killed me in two swings. (I tried invoking the
name of Elbereth, but it had no effect.) I wasn't even near a shop
as far as I could tell, not had I ever entered and left any shop without
paying. What happened? I did meet a ghost on level 6, but he finally
left me alone.
