	In fact, what you need to do is be confused, read a scroll
of teleportation, WHILE wearing your ring of teleport control.  No
other method of teleport will work (not leppies,nymphs,or ^T's).

	The key to the fact is:   "You mispronounce the magic words".
The main trick is that once you get to the first maze level, you
find the wand of wishing (see also other "spoilers") and wish for
useful things: Such as
	1) ring of levitation
	2) ring of fire resistance
	3) 3 potions of confusion
	4) 3 scrolls of teleportation
	5) ring of teleport control
which you will need on the 39th level to meet the wizard.

	Unfortunately, you will notice that there are 5 objects necessary,
and a wand of wishing will only give you 4 wishes (hack 1.0.3 and
hack 1.0.2 dependent ... IF you keep trying you will eventually
"wrest one more wish out of the worn-out wand") .  But, usually you
will run across a dragon before you hit the first maze level, so you
don't need a ring of fire resistance, and most of the time, by the
time I reach the first maze level, I have most, if not all, of the
required objects to go down to the 39th level and knock off the wizard.

	The main trick is: to teleport to the 39th level from the first
maze level and fight your way back *UP*, being that up staircases are
easily accessable.
