Is there any > advantage to wielding the bow while shooting? As silly as this may sound, it is usually better *not* to use a bow when throwing arrows. Crossbows are about even. Of course, if you have a magic bow or crossbow, by all means use that. This comment comes from much experience playing and trying to throw arrows, bot with and without use of bows. Granted, from a game mechanics point of view I must be wrong, but I have markedly better hit-ratio w/o the bow! Gryphon
