It looks like an upright triagular prism with holes in the sides. The tower is filled with a "light porous soil mixture" and plants are inserted in the holes. It is 2 feet high, costs $18.35. On p151A is a "trickle irrigation kit", 100 feet of porous plastic tubing and various couplings. The tubing gets run around the plants to apply water slowly. $14.95. Has anyone used these things? What can you grow in the tower? Please reply by mail, or send mail if you want to receive copies of my answers. -- The Maxwell R.
