This code must be tweaked to adapt PIC for a new device; in particular, we've done it for QMS 1200s. Has anybody done it for ASCII output? That is, for NROFF? Of course the \D directives are taboo, but you could at least make orthogonal lines and boxes with \l and \L. I don't see any inherent barrier in nroff or pic to doing this. -- Col. G. L.
