Co., Baltimore, Md. Lines: 30 I too was shorted one (1) 74hct107 xmit clock chip, but was able to fire up the unit using a 74ls107. The TNC went to- gether as advertised without a hitch. Even though the operation manuals are backordered, I was able to use the unit. There is a problem with a spur right on 145.010, but I was told by Ed at GLB the fix is a minor clock adjustment that is explained in the missing manual. True, I have had a few problems, but I am pleased with the quality and functionality of the GLB/TAPR TNC2 and would recommend it. What a difference from my OLD Vancouver, it has been sort of like changing from a world war I biplane to an f15.-- =========================================================================== Signed by: Rod Hart (WA3MEZ) Minicomputer Technical Support District Chesapeake & Potomac Tel.
