Perhaps this could be bent to allow special exceptions, when it is of general benefit to the net at large. I found mdee's posting quite unoffensive, giving a brief announcement of a job not unlike others posted by employers. On the other hand, I despise headhunters, and would be quite pleased if every one in existence simply disappeared forever, say, tomorrow. If commercial use of the net became a problem (e.g. 35 postings per day for COBOL programmer jobs in Wretchville, Nevada) then the obvious solution is for bothered sites to cease feeding systems which feed headhunters.
