Thinking Machines Corporation is looking for a highly motivated person
who can:

--be responsible for the acquisition of new hardware and software 
--deal with current vendors and establish relationships with new vendors
--successfully negotiate over the phone
--serve as a coordinator for hardware and software maintenance
--prioritize and track systems programmers' projects
--educate system users and solve their problems
--help corporate management plan budgets, needs, and acquisitions

Consistent drive to make things work and to get things done is a
necessity. A strong technical background is not needed, but you must
not be afraid of learning.

Thinking Machines is a young science-driven research and development
corporation in the field of artificial intelligence (and a really
neat place to work).

Our computer environment includes several VAXen running UNIX, a large
number of Symbolics Lisp Machines, and assorted other pieces of hardware
(specific knowledge of these environments is not required).
