I hope to get this cleared up in this posting. Dave Barry is a real live journalist who writes for the Miami Herald. His stories are picked up and distributed by Knight-Ridder Newspapers, which is a smaller newswire similar to AP or UPI. He is a humorist who has been writing his weekly column for several years now. He has three books out on the market; "Babies And Other Hazards Of Sex (or `How To Make A Tiny Person In 9 Months With Tools You Probably Have Around The Home')", "The Taming Of The Screw (a home repair book)", and "Stay Fit And Healthy Until You're Dead". They are all very funny, and by purchasing them you contribute to, as he puts it, "The Dave Barry Ferrari Maintenance Fund." Inquire at your local bookstore. The paper in my town, the "Fort Worth Star-Telegram," has a videotext type service which carries the electronic form of Dave Barry's weekly column. I just download this and post it to the net. I presently have an archive of 72 articles going back to 1983. I have talked to several people at Knight-Ridder and they are not worried about me posting Dave Barry copywritten articles to a non-profit network. George Moore
