At least mine does. It is not the new edition, but I got it about 15 years ago. He says children should always go barefoot in the house and that there is danger of flat feet if the child always wears shoes. He doesn't even care for socks--says that the feet should be a bit cool, like the hands. (This was back when houses were kept a lot warmer--before energy shortages.)
