There must have been other contributing factors. My older daughter had a bottle of milk every time she went to bed at night or for a nap until she was four and half. She had and still has no problems with her teeth. I know plenty of children who nursed themselves to sleep every night until age four or so with no tooth problems. "Infant nursing syndrome"?
