The back plate of the printer says it's really a Ricoh model RP1600. My friend wants to buy some print wheels, but the only CPT dealer in town wants $45/wheel. Ridiculous! I located a CPT supply house at the other end of the state who is willing to part with them for $31/wheel. Better, but still ridiculous. Does anybody have a contact (or know somebody (like a user of CPT equipment) who has a contact) who my friend could get a better price from? Does anyone know why the wheels are so expensive? (I'm pretty sure they're plastic, but even if they're metal -- Geez!) Does anyone know if this printer is compatible with some name brand like Qume or Diablo? Any help/pointers *greatly* appreciated. Thanks! -- Larry Afrin Dept. of Computer Science Clemson University P.S.
