The experience a friend and I had with the Fountain PC was not at all a
very impressive one.  We found it to be *VERY cheap*, and don't consider
it at all to be a "clone", it would be better labelled a "mutant"!  :-)
It did not run a few of the software packages that it claimed to run,
and the unit that the salesman tried to push-off on us didn't even have
a cooling fan!!!  Personally, I wouldn't even consider a Fountain PC for
my own personal use, and would recommend *anything* over it, including a
hand-held calculator.  Why buy an inferior quality PC, when there are
much better ones out on the market (besides it's price) that'll last longer
than a few months, and at least have some resale value?
