You all have helped changed my mind so I'll still use the cartridge for Kermit, but It sounds like a good language to learn. I have a few questions about dialing into mainframes. In logging onto the 3081 mainframe here (cp/cms) everything I type is in uppercase until I hit the caps key (800XL) and then everything is in lower case. The only way to type words in uppercase is to hold down the shift key, because the caps key no longer sets it into capital letters. Does anyone know how to do this? Also, when logging into a VAX/UNIX system here, MODEMLINK is interpreting something as slashes. For instance, /T/h/i/s/ w/o/r/d/ . How can I prevent this? Also, I haven't found a way to work mixed case from home, just upper case, though of course on the terminals here at weizmann I can. That's all for this time... Randy
