I took my ST to my local friendly computer shop and hooked it into the JX-80, then I used the install printer routine to install a color printer. When I attempted to do a screen dump to the printer, the operating system hung up until another command was given. If we installed the printer as black and white it worked fine in graphics and text mode (only black being printed by the printer). Does anybody know if this is a bug in TOS or if another color printer will be supported? The JX-80 is a tempting printer and I hear that price cuts will be coming soon. If anybody else has thoughts on this or experience with color printers I would appreciate hearing about it. Also, does anyone know if DEGAS or other graphics packages will have JX-80 printer drivers?
