Amiga is setting a standard. Where? I am fanatically opposed to the misuse of the english language. Please look up "standard" in your dictionary. What is "standard" about the Amiga, and what standards has it generated? If you don't have any evidence, then you are wasting our time. The Amiga vs. the ST debate can go on without me. It is a waste; what possible difference can it make? It will have no outcome -- there are two (possibly three) camps shouting at each other from their trenches. Suggestions for new topics: o Broadcast bugs! This will help other developers, and (yes) people from Atari /do/ read this. o If you have hacky utilities, bits of hard-won magic code, or special techniques, then post them! o What would you like to change in the ST? What parts of the machine most mystify you? What are you doing or developing with your ST, or (if you don't own one) what are your reasons for buying or not buying one? o Heard of any great products recently? o Gossip/rumor: what's /really/ going on at Atari, anyway...? -landon- -------
