I have not seen 520ST monochrome text; I hear it's very sharp. But Are you color blind by some odd stretch of the imagination? The mac's screen is still the most readable because of apparent resolution and fonts. Last time I saw an ST displaying fonts they were all clipped to 8x8 pixels. The amiga has fonts, but only if each application supports THAT KIND of fonts. Thank EA for IFF. keith A9F4
