I rather not buy an ATT printer as ATT might suggest, > so I am looking for a compatible. I am using an Epson Microline 192. It lists for $499, and it works well. I had to adjust the lp model to handle the screen dumps correctly. One can download fonts to this printer. I was able to get most of the nroff/troff special symbols stored into it. The main complaint I have with the printer is that when in "corres- pondence quality" mode it can't do bold or italics. Also I have had some problems with bands of darker dots appearing when printing graphs and such. Adnan Yaqub @ Allen-Bradley ...!decvax!abic!acy
