Correct me if I'm wrong, and then we'll all know: The 7300 disks each have three slices defined; hence the 0x1,2,3. On the floppy, slice 0 is loader, slice 1 is data, and I think slice 2 is not used. Same for the HD, except I don't know what's on slice 2. /dev/rfp... is character special, /dev/fp... is block special (different device driver entries for the same device). Dave Wood (a 7300 user)
