I'm the new owner of a C-64 (bought as a package from a friend
who wasn't using his) and would love to get some useful advice.
Those of you more experienced could just send me some mail.  Thanks.
1--I'm used to using 'vi' for text processing here.  Are there any
good text-processors which are similar and available for the 64.  Or
what programs do you have praise for?
2--How valuable are the speed-loader type systems and which do you
recommend?  Do they come in cartridge form so that they can simply
come on-board as soon as the machine is turned on?  Is the C-64 Wedge
available on cartridge?
3--What magazines might I find useful with info on the 64?  Any particular
books or other sources you recommend?
4--My children are ages 6-10 and we'd like to pick up both enjoyable
and educational programming for them.  Any suggestions?
