Aside from the rearrangement of keys, one other problem with the Mac+ keyboard is its size. A common complaint about the (old) Macintosh keyboard is that it is "too small". I consider its small size a significant feature, since it consumes less real estate on my desk. I am disappointed that some of the new standard file keyboard equivalents use keys that do not exist on the old keyboard. Please note: I know that some applications require cursor keys, and I know that a numeric keypad is extremely valuable for business applications. I just hope that the two keyboards are sufficiently compatible that if and when I purchase a new Macintosh derivative (such as the rumored Jonathan) that I can use an old keyboard with the new machine. -- John Bruner (S-1 Project, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory) MILNET: jdb@mordor [jdb@s1-c.ARPA] (415) 422-0758 UUCP: ...!ucbvax!dual!mordor!jdb ...!seismo!mordor!jdb
