I recently aquired an older PC with a 5 slot motherboard and 256K,
along with a Davong 10Mb hard drive, controller and Multi-Dos
operating system. Everything USED to work, according to the person
who had it last, but when it was shipped, he had taken the drive and
controller out and shipped it separately. I put it all back together,
went through Davong's software installation procedure (formatting, 
allocating partitions etc.) and in the end I get an error message
about "updating parameters". And, after it's formatted, the PC won't
let me access drive C ("invalid drive spec"). I'm going to try again
this weekend. In the meantime,
