Following all the discussion about upgrading MASM 3.0 to 4.0 I
called Microsoft to find out the cost.  I have had mine some
6 months and they want $75.00 to upgrade it !. Checking the mail
order ads I see you can buy 4.0 new for $95 or less.  I think
they are not doing us such a great service after all. It would
be better to buy another copy for $95 and sell the one I have
for say $45.

Questions:

Is it legal to resell my 3.0 - I have not signed the and returned
the registration yet ?. What experience have others had with costs
of upgrades.
