Every so often, it gives me a message that it can't boot from the winchester (not a boot disk). The only way I can be able to reboot is by doing a format, and then marking the bad tracks with DFIXER. If I compare the boot track data with another AT, I can find no difference. My only guess is that I do have SuperKey and SideKick resident at times, and that they might be doing something crazy with the ES register. If anyone could give me a clue, it would be most appreciated --- or if I even knew where to look in the IBM manuals I would be happy. Thanks -- phil ...
