Lines: 20 I just wanted to put in my two cents about "Stars in My Pockets..." Basically, I really enjoyed it, *all* the way through, and especially enjoyed reading a book that included gay sexuality as, I would say, a sideline issue. I think "Tides of Lust," which is truly pornographic, is really good as well. Who ever said pornography is a bad thing anyway? It's non-consensual acts that bother me, whether or not they're related to sex. Degradation of women is a drag too, but there are more billboards that do this that porn that does. As far as the use of "lady": I agree with Ger that it symbolizes a pristine useless woman of the well-monied classes in most cases, and occassionally is used after "old" to indicate a female lover by people in a male-dominated "non-monied" class. I heard this usage most often when I had some friends who associated themselves with the Hell's Angels. Will Doherty sun!oscar!wild
