I have seen the word Coffeehouse used here of late to refer to a place where people go to listen to music (usually folk) and my question is, are these like the coffeehouses of the 60's and early 70's? What I'm trying to find out is: 1) Are they operated like a nightclub (sell beer,wine,ect..)? 2)Is food served? and 3)Is there a new surge in this type of place? Unfortunately we don't have any place that I know of around here that really pushes the folk sound anymore. Heck if there's a need maybe I'm doing the wrong thing.:-) Thanks for any insight into this old but fun phenomena. Dave
