Texas CS Dept., Austin, Texas Lines: 19 Good to hear that Nanci is being well received outside her home town! For the curious, she has also appeared on several nationally syndicated music shows. She was featured several months ago on Austin City Limits, which PBS carries -- I think the shows are rerun from time to time. I also recently saw her on a Nashville Network show called "New Country." I don't know what their rerun policy is like, but it's shown daily, so they're bound to repeat now and again. Nanci Griffith's music definitely has a heavy country flavor, but it's some of the most appealing "country" music I've ever run into -- I'm generally not too enthusiastic about C/W music.
