This message is intended for those in the New England area only, but some
of the problems which I am bringing up may occur elsewhere in the net.  

There are 2 things that are missing that I would like to add to the 
new england area net.  I would like to see a ne distribution.  This would
allow people who wish to post things for sale an outlet in the local 
area.  I would then also like to ask for the creation of ne.news.groups
so that the discussion of any other regional groups does not have to
bother the rest of the net.  

I will be tallying votes for both these question and will announce
some sort of results sometime in January.
