There's too much info and it takes too long to replot unwanted material at 1200 baud. Fortunately, the digests have an index. It would really help if we could jump to specific topics within the digested notes. Other niceties that news has: the ability to skip certain topics. For example, I would like to skip certain names@site and certain topics such as OS-9(nothing against os-9, i just wrote that as an example). I've had to drop most of the net.micro.* groups because of too much volume. Most of my time is spent waiting for the screen to replot. These suggestion if implemented could save significant time in notesfiles for alot of us. Carl DeLong
