Lines: 9 Xpath: ukc eagle I recall the trouble arriving at a Chicago hotel from England with a fifteen-month-old child; we asked for a double room with an additional cot. (In English, a "cot" is a small child's sleep-receptacle about 3-feet by 18-inches, with a drop-gate on one side). What we got was a folding single-size bed, 6-foot by 2-foot-6-inches. On querying this, we were told "you don't want a cot, you want a crib!". (In English, a "crib" is a tiny nest suitable for a newborn infant).
