This is a pointer to a program, "gen," in net.sources.  It accepts
family relationships in a compact input format and dumps them as
PIC code for a family tree.  Unfortunately, the PIC-code generator
contains lethal bugs, so the program is presently useful only for
validating the data or dumping them as text.

If you want to try to get it working, go ahead!  The shar includes
a user's manual.
