Summary: Anybody read it?

Has anyone read Richard Bach's *Bridge Across Infinity*?  I had heard
that it was about his search for a mate, and I am a little afraid to buy
it because I am afraid that the subject matter will be a little too
painful for me to get all the wonder and wisdom that his other books
have given me.  Reviews anyone?  I don't particulary want the plot, just
wheither you thought it was worth the getting.  Thank you in advance.
